Savannah area police and sheriff's deputies say they rounded more than
200 pounds of expired and unwanted drugs as part of a national sweep.
Authorities say residents turned up at police precincts with everything
from a single prescription bottle to bags full of drugs to turn them
over to authorities with no questions asked.
That's a good idea, we're going to set up one of these "bring your old drugs here so we can destroy them" booths ourselves and take pills from old ladies all day long. Just think of all the goodies you'd score by the end of the day, we'd be like kids on halloween going through our bags.
I can't believe this actually works and people actually bring in their pills. Have they not heard of the trash? Yeah, I'm sure drug addicts are just combing over landfills looking for thrown away pills. And even if they were, it's still not worth it to go out of your way to some center to dispose of your pills. This is nothing but "feel like we're doing something" bullshit. The only people who bring in their old pills are the ones who would never abuse them or give them to others in the first place. It's not stopping one person from popping pills or taking the wrong medication. And can we really trust that the police are really just going to dispose of them all? I know I wouldn't.
There's always been police brutality in the United States, as well as around the rest of the world. In this day and age though everyone has a camera with them, which is great because things that would have been covered up in the past are now seeing the light of day, and the public is forcing government workers to abide by their own policy. We're for that 100% and we always want police and government actions to be right out in the open.
Candace Brubaker thought she had one of those situations the other day, when she saw her husband getting arrested in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Unfortunately for her and her husband Jeremy Anderson of Mechanicsburg, Pa, it wasn't an act of police brutality at all. Instead, it was a display of her husband being a drunk idiot and her a whiny little bitch. The police were simply trying to arrest Mr. Anderson while Candace and Jeremy continued to act like spoiled children. "Wahhh this isn't right waaah can't I take him home?" No, dumbass. When you commit a crime, you get arrested and go to jail, you don't get to go home with you wife. The police had to tell Candace Brubaker repeatedly to stop interfering and that no, she couldn't just take him home. Most 5 year olds have better listening skills than both Candace Brubaker and Jeremy Anderson combined.

And the most frightening thing is that Candace says she's pregnant. We're doomed. I don't even want to know what happens when the two stupidest people in the world get together and have a child. God help us all.
That pretty much sums of the logic of this Las Vegas police officer, who had the gall to blame his reckless driving on the guy he hit.
Everyone is aware that in a rear-ending collision the person who hit from behind is at fault, except of course this dickhead police officer in Las Vegas. If the officer wasn't able to stop in time, he should not have been following so closely. To not only try to blame it on the cyclist but also threaten him with tickets is quite appalling and should be enough to get his ass canned. Sadly, we're all too used to occurences like these and at the most he might get a paid day off.

Apologies to our readership for not posting anything in a long time. We've been busy with stuff but we're back in full effect, and today we present to you our piece of shit of the week: Hurst, TX police officer Disraeli Arnold. Let's just cut to the chase, watch the video below:
The video begins with 17-year old Andrew Rodriguez being pinned down by an officer who is in the process of arresting him. Evidently the teenager had a warrant out or was wanted for a previous trespassing charge. This part of the story does have us a little torn, because obviously here at People Liking People we don't like little shits who trespass. When Disraeli Arnold arrives on the scene though, it becomes very clear who the douchebag in this situation truly is. Now before Mr. Arnold even enters the picture, the first officer appears to be getting things under control, as Andrew Rodriguez begins submitting to the officer's demands. The main focus at this point is just Andrew pulling up his pants because his butt crack is starting to show. Other than that, things were calming down and the arrest was almost wrapped up.
Disraeli Arnold evidently didn't think things were proceeding as quickly as they should, and felt he needed to throw himself into the situation to show the first officer how it's done, but his demeanor is anything but professional. As everyone here knows, we're very pro-police here at People Liking People. But it's our positive view of the police that causes us to be the first ones to call for the firing of a bad officer, because they make the rest of the force look bad, and that builds distrust in the community. Whether Disraeli Arnold has a drug problem as some have suggested, or whether he's on some weird ego power trip, the end conclusion is the same: Mr. Arnold needs to be relieved of his duties as a Hurst, TX police officer.
In the end of the video, Disraeli Arnold seems to take pride in the fact that he is abusive in his methods, giving the camera guy his name and badge # without prompting. This is a classic sign of someone either drunk with power or some other mind altering drug. In his mind he's above the law and the world is his little playground to go around being Mr. Badass and fuck anyone who thinks he's unprofessional - he'll keep doing it and he'll get away with it. That's his mentality anyway, but it's time for a reality check and to be shown that there are repercussions to bad behavior.

Wow the fetishes some people have these days! Meet now-former police officer Justin Lunsford.
Mr. Lunsford was caught on video peeking into windows and masturbating, and shitting and pissing in the parking lot at Parkside Inn, a motel in Monroe, Ohio. Gross!
According to a police report, Lunsford was stopped Nov. 30 after patrons at Parkside Inn on Hamilton-Middletown Road reported seeing a man in a white hooded sweatshirt, naked from the waist down, urinating and defecating in the parking lot.
Justin Lunsford immediately resigned after being charged with voyeurism and public indecency.
What an embarrassment to himself, the police force, and the community. But one really has to wonder, how was this goofball ever hired on as an officer to begin with? You can just take one look at Justin and know something isn't right with the guy. We're not sure if it's the retard eyes or the stupid facial hair thing he has going on but someone is definitely not playing with a full deck here. I wouldn't trust him to make my fries at McDonalds (Lunsford's sanitary problems aside) let alone have him out there with a badge and a gun.
One of the more amusing bits about this story is Lunsford's friend Anita Watson-short from The Connor Group who has been going out of her way on the comment sections of all the articles about this story to defend her friend in an effort to make it seem like the guy's not a total mental case. That's one of the great things about the internet today and most sites' integration with Facebook: whenever something like this happens the friends and family come out of the woodwork to defend them from the rest of us who "just don't understand".
You want to associate yourself with a guy who masturbates while peering into the windows of a hotel and then proceeds to squeeze out a turd in a parking lot? Have at it Hoss, but if that's the type of person you call a good guy you may want to re-evaluate your standards. One day he might just pull down his pants and poop on you too.

A woman who flagged down an undercover officer and then offered oral sex was arrested.
The officer was driving down Lovejoy Road around 8 p.m. when the 45-year-old woman motioned for the officer to stop, according to the Fort Walton Beach Police Department arrest report.
Could you imagine this going down, a police officer driving home after a long day at work, sees an old raggedy woman flagging him down "hmm what's going on here, I better pull over...maybe she needs help...

Plus we're flat broke here at People Liking People so we can definitely relate to not having any money and having trouble paying the bills. But these asshats are the ones standing up for the cause? We couldn't do any better than this guys?

A biker cop is trying to get through the area and you got these Occupy shmucks standing in front of him trying to block his path. The cop tries to get through and it appears that one of the morons gets his foot ran over. He then shoves the bike to show how big of a tough guy he is before taking off like a little pussy when the cop comes after him. The best part is all the fake outrage that follows from the mass of retards "OMG OMG WHAT ARE U GUYS DOING! POLICE BRUTALITY RODNEY KING OMG" No really, some douche on a bullhorn actually shouts "You guys are fucking NAZIS!". Yeah, the police are nazis because they went after the guy who shoved a police motorcycle.
We're a bit torn right now, on the one hand these idiots should really be shipped off to some deserted island somewhere so we don't all have to smell their stench but I gotta admit they do provide great amusement at their expense. As long as they keep a good distance I say keep it up, it beats watching reruns of Jackass.
Right, because police brutality is some kind of new phenomenon. By this view, our world has been crumbling since day 1 of humanity. We are in fact animals, despite people fantasizing about us being otherwise. Life isn't all sunshine and rainbows and it never was.
On May 12 in Rochester, NY police made a traffic stop that happened to be right in front of Emily Good's home. Emily decided to videotape what was going on while standing in her front yard. Even though Emily Good was well within her rights to stand wherever she damn well please on her own property, Officer Mario Masic demanded that she go back inside. Watch the video:
She was then arrested for not complying. The good news: Today in court the judge dismissed the charges against her. The bad news: officer Mario Masic still has a job. We're pro-police here at People Liking People but we also realize that dickweeds like Mario Masic tarnish the reputation of the rest of the force. It's not rocket science to know that people are allowed to stand wherever they want on their own property. When idiots like Mario Masic can't understand simple concepts like this it makes us wonder how they qualify to be a janitor, let alone police officer.
Let's get to the truth here: Mario Masic was doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing and didn't like the fact that it was being caught on camera. He then made up some bull about not feeling safe as a justification to make Emily Good go away and stop recording what he was doing. Fortunately Emily Good stood up for her rights and she is indeed a hero. The judge agrees that she didn't do anything wrong and anyone with half a brain knows she didn't do anything wrong. Let's work hard as a community to get rid of scum like Mario Masic that ruin everything for the rest of us. People like Mario Masic unnecessarily increase tension between police and community while invading the rights of others.

Update: Mayor of Rochester Thomas S. Richards has issued a statement regarding the incident:
"Whatever the outcome of the internal review, we want to make clear that it is not the policy or practice of the Rochester Police Department to prevent citizens from observing its activities — including photographing or videotaping — as long as it does not interfere with the safe conduct of those activities," the statement said.
Score one for the good guys! Now let's get rid of shamed officer Mario Masic and move forward on a positive note.
You thought cops were bad in the states, Sao Paulo takes police brutality to a whole 'nother level. Six Sao Paulo police officers have been arrested after being caught on video shooting an unarmed 14 year old with no criminal record 5 times in the chest. Miraculously the kid survived and is on his way to a full recovery.
As you can see from the video, the boy is clearly not a threat to the officers and did not make any attempt to flee when shots began firing. Fortunately after the release of the surveilance video, 6 of the 7 officers involved have been arrested and charged with attempted murder. It remains to be seen what the punishment will be for these officers, but as this story is now being heavily covered in Brazil hopefully they'll be pressured into locking them up for a very long time.
The 7 officers involved are: Janderson Bezerra Magalhaes, Andre Castillo, Wilson Henrique Ribeiro da Cunha, Rozivaldo Ferreira de Souza, Marcos Teixeira de Lima, Wesley Souza dos Santos, Alexandre Souza dos Santos.
This happened at a Denny's in Chicopee, Mass. this past Sunday, Feb 20.

We're told that the altercation started long before these folks were inside Denny's. Apparently while in route to Denny's one car was cut off by the other and tempers continued to flare once they got inside. We're not exactly sure who's at fault here or really who to cheer for, so if anyone out there has the low down on this story please leave a comment below. The police report redacted the names of everyone involved, but we would like to know the names so if you are one of the people involved or you know who it was, let us know!
What we see here is a small group sitting down eating, 2 gals and a guy. The guy and girl that approach the table appear to be the aggressors. The guy standing starts taking shots at the guy sitting, then his woman gets involved and she ends up taking shots at the 2 gals. We don't know the full story here of what went down, but it appears to us that the aggressors are intellectually inferior and lost the argument they were having, but they didn't want to just leave looking like idiots so their only recourse to save face was to start getting physical. So at this point we're siding with the 2 gals and guy that were sitting down eating. We'd really like to know the names of the aggressors, the man and the woman, so again if anyone has any information...names, addresses...etc let us know! Let's shame the trash.
One thing that has us very concerned though is this little tidbit:
While investigators have identified each pugilist seen in the YouTube video, a Chicopee Police spokesperson said that for someone to be charged with simple assault and battery the attack must occur in the presence of a police officer.
We've never been to Chicopee, Massachusetts so we really don't know how things operate down there. But if this policy is true, it has to be one of the dumbest things we've heard in a long time. Apparently in Chicopee you can just go up and beat the shit out of whoever you want and as long as you don't do it in front of a police offer, you get off scott free. Is it really that backwards down there? Or is the Chicopee Police spokesperson a fucking retard that doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground? Anyone from Chicopee reading this? Let us know what the hell is going on in your town.
We here at People Liking People try to like all types of people, but unfortunately we've just stumbled upon one person with absolutely no likable qualities. We like to think that every person on this planet has something to contribute to society, but there are always exceptions to every rule. This person is Sgt. Robert McFarland, a very poor excuse for a human being, and right now at this very moment is using up air that others could be breathing.
Sgt. Robert McFarland is a 911 operator with the Lincoln Park Police Department. Now we've all heard 911 audio tapes where the operator clearly is making the situation worse by being on some sort of power trip instead of doing his job as a public servant by making sure a person in need gets the help required. But this guy Robert McFarland takes the cake. He goes above and beyond what it takes to be the worst possible person you'd ever want assisting the public in emergency situations.
