Beware of Woman-Abuser Paul Allen Derrick

Hey all, it's been a long time. We've been busy. But we wanted to bring to your attention something very important. There is a sick predator lose on the streets by the name of Paul Allen Derrick. This guy's sick desires has somehow managed to avoid notice of the Richland County, as they actually had him employed as a sheriff's deputy. His mental instability was recently brought out into the open however, when a video captured by a customer at Buffalo Wild Wings in Columbia, SC caught Derrick in the act of one of his tricks of trying to force a woman into submission by violent coercion methods. This would have all gone on without much notice if it hadn't been for an alert patron who began taking video of the scene as soon as he realized something wasn't right. View the video below:

Details are scant as far as what Paul Allen Derrick was using as his justification for attempting to subdue the woman, but those who were there say he blew up when she rejected his advances. She no doubt saw him for the predator he is, and his next actions proved this assumption correct. As you can see from the video, he manhandles her, pulls out handcuffs and a gun and bosses (and tosses) her around like a drill sergeant. At first, there is confusion in the air, with customers not quite sure what's going on but assuming Paul Allen Derrick must be some sort of authority figure making a legitimate arrest. As his attack continues, it becomes more clear that this is no typical arrest, and Paul Allen Derrick is not your typical officer. This is a deranged man with a sick lust for what he can't have, and will use his everything within his power - this time handcuffs and a gun - to gain compliance for his pleasure. It makes you wonder what tactics he would have used if he wasn't out in public, and where it would have led to.

So where are we now? Fortunately the police were called and Paul Allen Derrick was arrested. He's now on unpaid leave. That's a good start, and it shows that the police recognize that this a monster and not a legitimate officer. But what's the next step? We won't be satisfied until he's locked up behind bars for a long time, away from women and children.

If you or anyone you know has been a victim of Paul Allen Derrick, please send us an e-mail or leave a message in the comments. Of course, do call the police as well.  The community needs to know about predators like this walking around, and it's only after we put all the pieces together that we can make a case for putting this sicko away for good. Now that Paul Allen Derrick has been shown in public to be the monster he's been all along, it will be interesting to see how he reacts. The fake facade of authority and respect has been shattered, and now there's nothing to stop him from indulging in what he has craved all along. If Richland County is smart, they're monitoring this whackjob 24/7. It also behooves the rest of the community to be on alert as well. If you see this man, do keep in mind that he is armed and will not hesitant to use violence against you, especially if you're a woman. Try to avoid eye contact, call the police, and remain or flee to a safe area. If you have any information about Paul Allen Derrick, feel free to include it in the comments below. We will make updates as we receive them.

Update: Paul Allen Derrick has been fired from his position at Richland County. We commend Richland County Sheriff's Department for doing the right thing. Far too often incidents like this are swept under the rug but we must give credit where credit is due. Great job Richland County!

We look forward to seeing charges filed against Mr. Derrick for false imprisonment, along with other charges involving his use of a fire arm in public while intoxicated, as an instrument of intimidation.

In Defense of Justin Bieber: Shame On Rolling Stone

Wow, I thought we'd never do this, but we're actually sticking up for Justin Bieber.

There's been some outrage lately stemming from a Rolling Stone interview with Justin Bieber in which he was asked what his stance on abortion is in the event of rape. His response:

"Um. Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I don't know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."
Abortion is a highly polarizing topic where things can get heated very quickly, whether one is pro-life or pro-choice. So pretty much no matter what his answer was, he was bound to lose with one side or the other. And some are outraged that he would imply that somehow there's a reason some women get raped. I'll admit, that was kind of a dumb comment that didn't make sense. But we're giving him a pass on it because he was put on the spot about something he probably hasn't done a lot of thinking about.

But that isn't even the real story. The real story is Rolling Stone magazine asking Justin Beiber about abortion in the event of rape in the first place. Really guys? He's a "teen heart throb", practically still a child himself, a pop star of preteen girls. What in the hell does rape and abortion have to do with anything he's involved with? I could see asking a politician about it, or someone who has made abortion or rape one of their causes they've taken up in life. But some child pop star? What in the hell were they thinking? It was pretty much a setup from the very beginning. There's no way for him to answer that question and it be the right answer. They knew it would create controversy and it would be publicity for the magazine, whether it was good or bad publicity wasn't of concern. What a cheap and pathetic way to make news.
